As many of you know, last night was the fourth annual Fashion’s Night Out. Fashion’s Night Out is an opportunity for designers and retailers to celebrate fashion and interact with shoppers and style lovers everywhere.

Elite Daily was lucky enough to receive an invitation to Salvatore Ferragamo’s Fashion’s Night Out Event, (special thanks to Alex Gobo, Salvatore Ferragamo’s PR Manager) held at the designer’s Fifth Avenue flagship. Of course, I was eager to accept.

As soon as I approached the door I was pleasantly greeted by Ferragamo’s gracious staff and handed a drink at the door. The event was centered on showcasing Salvatore Ferragamo’s Creative Director Massimiliano Giornetti’s Women’s Fall/Winter 2012 runway collection. This collection is inspired by “the decorative flavor of a tsarina’s wardrobe with a Russian themed fete, ‘From Russia with Love.’”

I fell in love with the collection as I browsed the store. The collection is feminine and regal: Chiffon dresses; flowy silhouettes, lace up booties, a fabulous Fabergé egg inspired purse and gilded embroidery were dominant. The clothing was beautiful on the racks, but what I truly enjoyed was seeing the dresses on Miroslava Duma, Elena Perminova and Anya Ziourova who made it seem as if the clothing was made for them.

In edition to enjoying the collection, I was most impressed with the event itself. Russian New Wave pop band Tesla Boy put on an amazing show. The music was fun and kept the mood going. Ferragamo made sure that everyone had a drink in hand, (my favorite being the Pink Lady: Beluga Vodka, Grapefruit Juice, Prosecco and a splash of Rose Water) and caterers passing around bite-sized Russian delicacies constantly approached the guests, much to my excitement.

Overall, the event was spectacular and stylish and I’ll be the first to recommend Salvatore Ferragamo’s Fall/Winter Collection to anyone looking for a luxurious fall wardrobe. Thanks again Ferragamo!
