Metallics For The Spring/Summer Season

Sometimes we stare at our closets as if they were the saddest places on earth, full of clothing, which seem more depressing than the ending of "Titanic." Thankfully, we have all learned the art of accessorizing with a few bangles, a brooch or a necklace, that gives our boring clothing a new look.

The fashion world, took this concept to a whole new level this season: instead of wearing your metallic jewelry on your wrist or your neck, now you can just wear a metallic…coat. It is enough to revise one Burberry Prorsum fashion show to see that the metallic clothing, shoes and handbags are going to be in fashion this Spring and Summer.

While metallic trench coats might be too much, metallic colored shoes are always welcome. Catwalks of New York, London, Milan and Paris were full of metallic shoes: strappy pumps at Chloe and Dior, sandals at Fendi and Etro, heels from Isabel Marant and Lanvin and even Japanese inspired shoes at Prada. At least we know, that metallic shoes can complement any outfit and make it go from ashy to flashy.
