Parisian fashionistas are currently fawning all over Paris S/S 2013 Fashion Week. The world capital of fashion and style impresses us each year, and I was particularly impressed by the Maison Martin Margiela S/S 2013 collection.
Margiela showcased their collection in Hotel Salomon de Rothschild in a floor to ceiling white wrapped room with gold chandeliers as the only pop of color. The collection was completely simple and avant-garde in typical Margiela fashion.
Monochromatic outfits, boxy and oversized silhouettes, sheer skirts and leather were completely dominant. Not one bit of bright color walked down the runway (varying shades of white, black and grey we’re apart of the color scheme) and that is completely okay with me.
