One of this year’s most wearable trends is that of sheer fabrics. I recently encountered a few women talking about having difficulty incorporating sheer clothing into their winter wardrobe, and I wondered why?
Don’t shy away from sheer clothing during the colder months. One of the best aspects of winter is layering. Cover a sheer top with a blazer or a cardigan. The contrast will give you just the right amount of coverage while still maintaining that sex appeal that sheer clothing affords you.
Which brings me to the next point, always wear sheer clothing appropriately. Know where you’re headed, and think when you’re getting dressed if you’d be able to wear a sheer blouse at whichever event you plan on attending.
For more conservative events, don’t shy away from sheer, simply layer under your blouse with a cami or patterned tank top. Right now is an excellent time to invest in sheer blouses, as you can wear them in the winter and continue tucking them right into warm weather.
