Fearless Fashion: Heavy Metal

Normally women save their metallics and sequined clothing for New Year’s Eve or Holiday related functions. This fall and winter that will change, it’s now encouraged to wear your gold, silver and bronze hued clothing as much as possible.

This is a bold trend, a statement that should be made with caution. In my earnest opinion, I suggest not overdoing the metallics. An accent piece goes a long way so try wearing a metallic print skirt with more dull colors and fabrics. A shiny tops with a tweed blazer. Mix fabrics, textures, and colors, I promise it’ll look subtler than you think.
