Fashion Inspired By: Les Misérables

One of the year’s most anticipated epic films this year, Les Misérables, was released on Christmas Day, and the world is buzzing with how incredible the film is. I have yet to see it, but that’s something I must accomplish before the end of the weekend.

I have seen Les Misérables on stage and the costumes were nothing short of amazing. The play (originally a book) is set in the 1800’s in France, one of the most elaborate and extravagant eras and places for clothing.

Because of this, I thought it’d be fitting to write an article on ensembles inspired by this film, based off of some characters and of the time period in general:
