New York City just got a bit more “fierce”. Designer Christian Siriano finally has opened his first, long awaited, retail store.

Siriano won America’s hearts over during the entire fourth season of Project Runway cinching the win at the end. Since then, his elegant and over the top evening dresses and bridal gowns have been iconic.

Siriano, 26, currently sells his designs in large department stores such as Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. Siriano said, “This is a test store. It will have a lot of exclusive items.”

With this store, Siriano is hoping to move away from evening gowns. Yes, the store will retail some of his dress designs, but he hopes to excel in his sportswear line.

The store quietly opened last week and will open to the public on September 5th. The retail space is located at 252 Elizabeth Street and will host 1,000 square feet of floor space. Good luck Christian!
