Disney princesses have been the inspiration for countless fashion moments. Now, they’ll get their own chance at strutting their stuff on an actual catwalk.
Disneyland Paris had the wonderful idea to celebrate their 20th anniversary by staging a full-on runway show, complete with live models and couture gowns.
On March 23rd, the models posing as Disney princesses will take the stage in modernized versions of their original looks. For example, Cinderella will be wearing couture by British designer Sister by Sibling. Her ensemble will consist of a knit mini dress with hand embroidery and custom sparkly hi-tops designed by Katie Grand Loves Hogan.
Princesses won’t be the only girls walking down the runway, Minnie Mouse will be bound to steal the show with a custom made Lanvin version of her signature spotted dress designed by Alber Elbaz.
