By now, we’ve certainly heard of juice cleanses, and we’re all obviously accustomed to the regular cocktail (or two). Now, there’s a new trend in drinking, one that has me wondering if it even works: Juicetailing.
What is juicetailing? Well, essentially, it’s cocktails mixed with healthy juices. This practice has become common amongst the high-end bar scene. It seems comical (to me at least) to Detox while you retox. What exactly is the point of that?
In addition to it being counterproductive, do these concoctions even taste good? I couldn’t imagine vodka combined with a mixture of carrot, ginger, pomegranate and beet could be tasty in the slightest.
What do you think, would you drink a juicetail?
