If you’re unfamiliar with the show, "Revenge" is a primetime soap opera that has a firm grip on America. Viewers everywhere are wildly obsessed with the television show and the well dressed, ruthless characters it features.

Think of Revenge as a new Gossip Girl (although no show could ever compare), especially when it comes to its fans' obsession with the cast’s clothing. The fashion in the show and style of the characters has spawned so much interest that ABC Studios and Matchbook Co., which represents the show’s Emmy-winning costume designer Jill Ohannesson, are teaming up with the network’s licensing company on a line of apparel and accessories inspired by the show, according to WWD.

The show’s cast members have become style icons on the show, as well as in real life. Ashley Madekwe (Ashley Davenport) is one such star in particular. She was asked about her character's style at the CFDA Awards last night:

“I think I got the best wardrobe obviously,” she admitted. “My Lanvin dress stuck out to me because that’s when we did the skeet shooting–I love that everybody else was in shooting clothes and Ashley Davenport was not. My Alaïa dress when I see Tyler kissing Nolan really stood out for me…I really like the outfits where she’s wearing separates because anyone can shop for a pretty dress, but I think it’s a skill to work separates and accessories.”

Maybe this will serve as inspiration for the clothing line? Details of the collection are still being worked out, but it’s been said that fans should expect body-hugging dresses and potentially lingerie, accessories, shoes, men’s wear and plus-size apparel all timed for a holiday launch with a “major retailer.”
