Last night's "WWE Raw" took place in Manchester, England, so it was only right for Manchester's biggest soccer superstar to grab a front-row seat for the action.
Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney attended the show as just another spectator, but soon enough he was thoroughly involved in the action.

Rooney, who attended the event at the Manchester Arena with his 6-year-old son, was called out by British wrestler Wade Barrett.
Barrett antagonized Rooney. According to The Telegraph, Barrett said,
In this ring are two men who can be described as having championship material. Which is more than can be said for Wayne Rooney and Manchester United.
Barrett continued to insult Rooney until the United player slapped Barrett hard across the face.

Rooney celebrated the knockout by taking a photo after the show with Ryan Giggs, Darren Fletcher and wrestling legend Triple H.
This was one hell of a Monday night for athletes and fans alike.
