The Real MVP: Tom Brady Gave His Super Bowl Truck To Malcolm Butler

Twitter

It was only a matter of time before Tom Brady let Malcolm Butler know,

You the real MVP.

And if actions really do speak louder than words, Brady sent that message loud and clear.

The New England Patriots' quarterback, who was given a $20,000 Chevy Colorado as a prize for winning the Super Bowl's MVP award, ended up giving the truck to cornerback Malcolm Butler.

If was fitting, too. After all, Butler did save the championship for the Patriots when it looked like all hope was lost.

Butler's amazing play was the difference between Brady suffering a third sickening Super Bowl defeat in as many tries and the quarterback winning his fourth ring, which gives him even more credibility in the greatest-of-all-time debate.

After winning the award, Brady said,

Malcolm made a huge play to save our season. It was the perfect play at the perfect time. None of us will ever forget that play.

Few will.
