Tom Brady Says Donald Trump Gives Him 'Motivational Speeches'

Well, it turns out Donald Trump and Tom Brady are friends after all.

Despite the fact that Trump himself already said that last week, as he publicly congratulated Brady for winning the Deflategate court trial, it was hard to tell if "The Donald" was exaggerating the extent to which he and the Patriots QB have a relationship.

Congratulations to Tom Brady on yet another great victory- Tom is my friend and a total winner! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 3, 2015

But then a "Make America Great Again" hat was spotted in Brady's locker room by Barstool Sports' John Feitelberg, and we all of a sudden had more reason to talk about Trump.

At that point, Brady had some explainin' to do, and explain he did. In a radio interview with Boston's local sports radio station WEEI, Brady said the hat was a gift from Trump, who sent it to the quarterback through Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Brady told WEEI,

He always gives me a call and different types of motivational speeches at different times. So now that he's running for president, he sent me a hat... It found its way to my locker.

It sounds like Brady is fully down for the cause. Hopefully, he can help #MakeAmericaGreatAgain.
