Rugby Player Saves Young Fan From Security And Gifts Him World Cup Medal (Video)

On Saturday, in front of 80,000 screaming fans at London's Twickenham Stadium, New Zealand became the first country ever to win back-to-back Rugby World Cup titles.

The All Blacks, now the winningest team in the tournament's history, defeated rival Australia by a final score of 34-17, and immediately after the final whistle, the celebration party was on.

For one young fan, that meant forsaking all rational thought and sprinting onto the field to embrace his World Cup heroes.

Initially, security tackled the boy just short of the players, but New Zealand's Sonny Bill Williams helped his admirer to his feet and gave him a hug.

And if that wasn't enough, Williams then gave the fan his World Cup winner's medal to keep.

The look on the young supporter's face afterward says it all.
