On November 18, New Zealander rugby legend Jonah Lomu passed away at the age of 40.

Today, he was celebrated at a public memorial at New Zealand's largest stadium, Eden Park.

The ceremony was an emotional spectacle that included fans, friends, family and former teammates of one of the greatest rugby players in the history of the sport.

Lomu's former New Zealand teammates, his former Wesley College teammates and current Wesley students performed the haka, the traditional New Zealand warrior dance.

The haka performances alone will give you major goosebumps.

But watching Lomu being carried by those closest to him, followed by his family releasing 40 white doves in his honor, will have you reaching for the nearest tissue box.
