Freak Of Nature Totally Shatters The Broad Jump Record At NFL Combine (Video)

Byron Jones may have played football at UConn, but at the NFL Scouting Combine, he proved he can jump just as well as any of the Huskies' basketball players.

The 2015 NFL Draft prospect absolutely shattered the broad jump record at the combine and recorded a 12-foot, 3-inch leap to finish 8 inches farther than the previous record.

The cornerback also posted an impressive tally for his vertical leap, with his jump measuring at 44.5 inches.

As noted by SB Nation, Jones is projected by ESPN's draft guru, Todd McShay, to be selected in the second round, but his leaping ability is still second to none.

Check out Jones' ridiculous jump in the video below.
