Dallas Is F*cking Pissed DeAndre Jordan Is Coming To Play The Mavericks

by Adam Silvers

In case you thought Mark Cuban, the Mavericks and the city of Dallas were over the whole DeAndre Jordan fiasco, think again.

This summer, during NBA free agency, Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan came about as close to signing with the Dallas Mavericks as humanly possible.

There was a verbal agreement, it was made public and Mavs owner Mark Cuban even announced the news. Then, following a string of emoji and a Clippers sit-in at Jordan's home, the big man backtracked and decided to stay with LA.

Tonight, Jordan's Clippers will visit Dallas to take on the Mavericks, and there have been Texas-sized shots fired all week.

After his team's Tuesday night game against the New Orleans Pelicans, Mark Cuban reportedly said he saved all the text messages between himself and Jordan from this summer and suggested he might go public with them at a later date.

Mark Cuban did say DeAndre Jordan's final text came at 11:56 p.m. on July 7, when Jordan said he was on a date that turned out to be Griffin — Ben Bolch (@latbbolch) November 11, 2015

Today, The Dallas Morning News provided devil mask cutouts of DeAndre Jordan for fans to use during tonight's game.
