Cristiano Ronaldo Is Now A NYC Resident After Buying An $18.5M Loft

by Adam Silvers

With the purchase of an $18.5 million loft in Manhattan, Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo officially became a resident of New York City.

The 30-year-old Portuguese winger signed the paperwork last Wednesday, and he can now count a 2,509-square-foot residence in Trump Tower among his many possessions.

At the moment, Ronaldo plays in Spain, but with his contract at Real Madrid set to expire in 2018, is a move to MLS on the horizon?

It would be so Ronaldo to make this purchase three years ahead of time, but hey, what's $20 million to one of the world's most interesting and wealthiest soccer stars?

Let the rumors fly, though, fans of the Red Bulls and NYCFC!
