Hey, you hear the one about the woman who had her 20 boyfriends buy her 20 iPhone 7s, but then she sold those iPhone 7s to buy a house?
Well, you're about to find out.
According to reports, a woman in China just landed herself on the America's Most Savage list (yes, I made that up) by conning her 20 different boyfriends into each buying her an iPhone 7.
This woman reportedly went and sold the 20 iPhone 7s for cash and straight up bought a house with the proceeds.
How do you say "savage" in Chinese?
Apparently, this story came to light after blogger Proud Qiaoba — that's her online alias — shared the story of her friend and colleague, Xiaoli, the woman who duped 20 dudes and sold 20 iPhones to finance a new house.
After the story started spreading like wildfire because of obvious reasons, Proud Qiaoba wrote,
Um, Qiaoba, I have an idea or two about what these 20 dudes might be thinking after learning about their girlfriend's activities.
Now, you might be sitting there thinking this woman is savage AF and deserves to lose everything she's worked so hard for. But, keeping 20 significant others apart and in the dark sounds like the hardest task ever if you ask me.
And, in China, it's apparently quite difficult to purchase a home, which is why Xiaoli is being viewed as something of a hero.
Speaking on her friend's heroism, Qiaoba wrote,
The story really got its legs on the Chinese site Weibo, where a hashtag that means something to the effect of "20 mobiles for a house" has been seen a reported 13 million times.
One Weibo user reportedly wrote,
Don't we all, Weibo user. Don't we all.
