There is a new trend in child tracking that doesn't require parents to harness their kids to large leashes in order to keep them from wandering off in crowds: shoes, like the pair worn by the little girl in the above video, that squeak loudly with every step.

This girl loves marching noisily around the square, and her parents love not losing their tiny offspring in a sea of larger humans.
