Friends Dress Up As Mario Kart Characters And Race Go-Karts Through A Mall

These Brits are living the dream it seems, after dressing up like Mario Kart characters and racing through an almost-empty mall on go-karts. The group, known on YouTube as Base37, filmed the adventure on GoPro cameras for a two-minute video that's both entertaining and aspirational.

The Poke reports the Mario Kart crew came up with the go-kart flashmob idea at a pub, and I can't say I'm all that surprised. They did have their wits about them enough, though, to form a game plan on the ride over.

"So, what are the rules?" a girl dressed like Princess Peach asks the van. "Don't get caught!" they all shout back.

The cops didn't catch them inside the mall, but when the Brits fled the scene in their minivan? Well, that's another story.

Watch the full video above to vicariously experience the Mario bliss and discover their fates. Let's just say they didn't make it to the end without facing a turtle shell bomb or two.
