This Is The One Thing That Stops People From Watching Porn, According To Study

We've discovered porn's biggest weakness: "Game of Thrones."

Adult website Pornhub revealed that its overall traffic dropped significantly during the hour when HBO aired season 6 in April.

A spokesperson for Pornhub said,

During the hour that the premiere episode aired, Pornhub saw traffic across the United States drop four percent. That's a considerable amount of traffic considering that Pornhub has over 60 million daily visitors, and the United States ranks as the number one market. Hundreds of thousands of people from House America put their usual Sunday night porn watching on hold to tune in.

But outside of its actual show time, "GOT" continues to be a huge driver for porn sites.

Pornhub said that it remained a popular search, due in part to various porn parodies, but also from fans hoping to get a glimpse of the nudity and sex that the series is known for.

Throughout April, searches containing the term "Game of Thrones" were slightly above average. But they shot up in the days before the season premiere, peaking at 370 percent on Sunday, June 24.
