Snapchat May Have Paid Around $150 Million So You Could Vomit Rainbows

I hate the way I look. I wish I had a thinner face, smoother hair, fuller lips, hearts for eyes, rainbow vomit, zombie skin... The list goes on.

Well, bully for me and anyone who shares my plight because Snapchat is about to make all these dreams come true.

The photo-sharing app acquired Looksery, a facial recognition and modification app, for $150 million, Business Insider reports.

Looksery, launched via Kickstarter in June 2014, uses facial recognition technology to Photoshop a face in video or photo messages, and reportedly has around 3,000,000 downloads.

The app is capable of the aforementioned features, some of which Snapchat already integrated into the Lenses feature it debuted on Tuesday.

Looksery is San Francisco-based startup led by CEO Victor Shaburov.
