Hotel Guests Sleep With Murdered Woman's Dead Body Under Bed For Over A Week

NOPE. NOPE. SO MUCH NOPE.

A few guests staying at Hotel El Senador in Mexico City have been sleeping with a murdered woman's dead body underneath their bed for over a week, MailOnline reports.

The body was discovered by two of the hotel's cleaning women after a foul smell led staff to the rotting corpse.

It was nightmarish, to say the least.

Apparently, the hotel staff noticed a stench after the last guest checked out of the room. They became curious to find out where it was coming from, and decided to investigate.

The cleaners allegedly lifted the bed frame and found the deceased victim. She was reportedly between 25 and 30 years old, but her identity has not yet been determined.

The woman was wrapped in plastic before she was shoved underneath the bed. According to a coroner's report, she died from suffocation.

I can't even imagine coming across such a gruesome discovery... let alone sleeping directly above it.

Apparently, the hotel staff confirmed the woman checked into the hotel with a male, who remains unidentified. In my opinion, that's a little odd. But I'm no detective.

To make matters even worse, there is no CCTV footage of either guests at the hotel. Therefore, authorities have been unable to properly identify them.

According to MailOnline, a spokesperson from the hotel spoke out about the various guests who didn't even notice a woman's body was beneath their bed frame.

They reportedly stated,

During the time that we believe the woman was under the bed, several people checked into the room and slept with the body underneath the bed.

CHILLS.

This case is certainly a disturbing one.

The identity of the woman wrapped in plastic and the man with whom she checked into the hotel still remain unidentified. Hopefully, authorities will be able to track down the murderer and give the woman justice.

But until then, I think I'm going to stay away from hotels for a while.
