Mom And Daughter Get Into Hilarious Fight Over Feeding Their Cat Ice Cream

by Talia Koren

Sometimes parents treat their cats better than their own human children. I personally don't get it; cats are just animals.

Jenny Katz, who was at home with the family cat, Coco, feels the same way. Her mother, Debbie, confronted her about eating the last bit of the 17-year-old cat's ice cream.

Yeah, you read that right. The cat has her own ice cream, and Debbie was pissed when she found out her beloved pet wouldn't get her (completely unnecessary) favorite treat, and she wasn't letting Jenny off the hook easy.

No, this wasn't your ordinary cat fight.

Apparently, Coco's bedtime snack is a little bit of French vanilla ice cream. Jenny told Mashable her mom has fed it to Coco every night before bed for the last year.

Jenny herself isn't on board with this, as it had only become the routine since she moved out.

A lot of people either feel her pain or her cat's pain because this has been retweeted more than 15,000 times.

In Jenny's family, Coco's treats are obviously a very sensitive topic.

Honestly, I would have reacted in the exact same way if my mom fed my dog ice cream every night.

I wonder if Coco was cool with the popsicle she got instead of French vanilla ice cream.

Eventually, Coco got her ice cream fix.

I don't think my mom would ever be cool with feeding ME ice cream before bed every night. Some pet owners, man.
