Man Transforms His Entire Home Into A Beautiful Tribute To His Late Wife

by Anna Menta

In the most romantic news I've heard all week, a man who lost his wife of 59 years turned his home into a gorgeous museum dedicated to her memory.

Meanwhile, my boyfriend bought me new ChapStick at Rite Aid last week.

There's now a music video featuring Charles "LaLa" Evans, and it showcases the Starkville, Mississippi home he shared with his late wife, Louise, who died in 2011 just before their 60th wedding anniversary.

The band Mutemath decided to share the couple's love story to the tune of the group's song "Monument." The video blew up, probably because it's so dang touching.

LaLa's house-turned-museum features thousands of photos, mementos and home videos of his wife, whom he called Ms. Lou.

He also  stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and told Ellen the story of how he and Ms. Lou met and fell in love.

Oh, by the way, the band filmed his reaction to the final music video, and he loved it.
