This Lingerie Model Born Without Legs Says She Makes $1,000 A Day (Photos)

Lingerie model Kanya Sesser embraces her lack of lower limbs and showcases it an empowering way.

Oh, and she reportedly makes an alleged $1,000 a day doing so.

The 23-year-old Thailand native was abandoned on the steps of a Buddhist temple when she was only a week old.

About five years later, she was adopted and brought to Portland by her new parents.

Now living in LA, Sesser reportedly models professionally for Nike, Volcom and Rip Curl. She told Daily Mail,

It's something fun and it shows my story -- I'm different and that is sexy. I don't need legs to feel sexy.

Sesser said, "I enjoy making money from it, and I love showing people what beauty can look like."

In an industry where there is a premium pit on embracing a standard definition of beauty, Sesser flips the script. She believes the focus should be put on showing one's strengths.

She chooses pictures featuring her in bras and lingerie because she knows it shows just that -- a powerful woman not letting anything get the best of her.

When she isn't modeling, Kanya is an extreme sports junkie who enjoys skateboarding and surfing, and she will potentially compete as a mono-skier at the 2018 Winter Paralympics in South Korea.

She said she never actually intended to get into modeling and this path just sort of "happened" to her.

While she is training for the Olympics, Sesser plans to continue modeling and even hopes to write a book about her incredible story.
