Twitter used to be that website people posted on when they were scared of posting too many Facebook statuses. (No one wanted to be that guy.)
But it's evolved into this beautiful, beautiful place where people call other people out on their bullshit in 140 characters or less, and it makes me feel so alive. And for someone who's completely dead inside, that's saying a lot.
Music is no exception to this no bullshit rule. If you say something stupid in a song, Twitter's gonna call you out on it.
And that's exactly what happened when #FactCheckASong started trending.
Through this hero of a hashtag, people were able to call out the plot holes in, like, every song to ever exist, and it really makes you think about the clout of literally every song ever written.
