8 Guys Confess The White Lies They've Told People They Were Dating

Don't act sooooo judgy. We ALL do this, and we all do this CONSTANTLY.

I think I lie to girls I'm trying to impress at least twice DAILY. I don't even think I do it out of insecurity or a need to gain acceptance in the eyes of women I'm courting. At this point, it's more just a pointless knee-jerk reaction I physically can't stop.

It's like if a girl says she loves Vampire Weekend, my mind loses control of my body, and I end up yelling, “I KNOW THE BASS DRUMMER'S BROTHER,” for no reason! That's the least impressive connection to Vampire Weekend, and I know it, yet for some reason, I have no restraint in yelling stuff like that.

The brave dudes of Reddit decided to stop living in shame of their lying ways and dish on the bizarre things they've claimed while talking to ladies they like.

BRAVO! We need more brave truth-telling souls like these men in the world.
