This Guy Lost His Dog And Then Someone Casually Gave Him A Random Dog
A case of mistaken identity, you say?
Luke Neville lives with his brother, James, in a surf town on the New South Wales coast called Culburra and with them was their pug Bella.
However, over the weekend, their beloved pug went missing. Luke believes it happened some time around breakfast, when they left the front door open, and she must have snuck out for a quick pug adventure, as pugs are wont to do.
Immediately, Luke took to social media to help find dear Bella.
But then... this happened.
Luke's friend apparently saw a "found dog" sign and called the number. The person who found the dog confirmed it was a pug, and his friend thought it was Bella.
That's a very kind gesture, but uh.... no, friend.
Luke's friend picked up the dog, that was not Bella, and dropped her off at his place.
"Who are you? Why are you keeping me here? This is not my home. Release me from this prison."
Luke realized that this was not his beautiful pug. He said,
I got home from a search, I thought it was Bella back home so I started patting her before realizing something was off.
Obviously, it was exhausting to pretend to be a dog you are not...
While we're sure this is a very nice pug, the fact remains that this was not Luke's pug. Therefore, his search for his missing Bella now continued, plus he had to figure out who owned this stranger.
Luke reached out to the local council ranger, and they had a pug that matched Bella's description at the pound.
While he had to wait to pick her up the next morning, he still had Not Bella to deal with.
Luke checked some of the local lost pet listings and saw that a pug had gone missing the same day Bella had.
However, Luke's time with Not Bella was short, as her owners came to pick her up after confirming it was her dog. The Tale Of Two Puggies came to an end.
Truly a happy ending for both pugs.
