The 'Father Of The Bride' House Is Selling For A Surprisingly Affordable Price

by Kate Ryan

The gorgeous colonial made famous by the greatest wedding movie of all time (next to "Melancholia," depending on who you ask) is officially up for sale. The "Father of the Bride" home, which was used for several shots in the 1991 film, sits just outside of Los Angeles in the neighborhood of Alhambra, California.

And for the low, low price of $1.9 million, it could be yours!

OK, so while that's still a pretty hefty chunk of change, you definitely get your money's worth. According to the listing, the sprawling, 4,400-square-foot home features four bedrooms, three and a half baths, hardwood floors, a gourmet kitchen with modern appliances and a 90-bottle wine fridge. It even boasts a sunroom with a Batchelder fountain -- whatever that is.

Sounds like the perfect place to host an intimate wedding filled with family shenanigans, does it not??

I mean, look at that kitchen...

You know the one I'm talking about...

Have I sold you on it yet? If so, make sure to contact the listing's agent and make a bid right away. It won't be on the market for long.

P.S. No one paid me to oversell this house, I just actually find it super dope.
