Dog Films Couple's Snowy, Mountain-Top Wedding On GoPro (Video)

by Kendall Wood

A lot goes into planning a wedding, which is why enlisting a wedding planner is an obvious decision for many.

From the venue to the dress, the food to the party favors, the band to the videographer, there are too many boxes to check while wedding planning.

One couple, Marshall and Addie Burnette, recognized the hassle of a traditional wedding and decided it was more their style to elope to Roan Mountain, Tennessee, with only family and their closest friends in attendance.

Addie tells Refinery29,

Everything was last minute, including my wedding dress. The cool thing about it is that we eloped to the same mountain where we had our first date 10 years before, and it just so happened to snow two feet that day.

In two feet of sparkling, powdery snow, Marshall writes that "[their] dog, Ryder, insisted on filming the wedding video, so [they] let her do her thing."

From the morning moments shared with her mama, Addie, to capping off the wedding night in a cozy, mountain-top home, Ryder captures the quaint celebration from a unique point of view.

It's casual, stunning and heartwarming all at once, and truly showcases the beauty of the couple's special day.
