This Daredevil Filmed Himself Climbing To The Top Of An Egyptian Pyramid

by Taylor Ortega

In 60 years, Andrej Ciesielski will gather his grandchildren 'round to give them crushingly-unreal expectations of travel, telling them about the time he scaled the Great Pyramid of Giza.

The Munich native visited Egypt for a casual climb to the top of one of the Seven Wonders of the World when police weren't looking.

According to Ciesielski's website, police spotted him halfway through his journey to the top.

The 18-year-old wrote,

They shouted something in Arabic I think but I didn't care and kept going while listening to music.

In an interview with BuzzFeed France, Ciesielski said he was arrested upon climbing back down the pyramid.

He added,

I went to the police station for maybe one hour. They asked me many questions about why I did this, but they let me go.

Check out Ciesielski's video of the climb below to live vicariously through a brave teenager who's living everyone's best life.
