The Bank of DAD is CLOSED.

Refusing to give your child spending money is a right of passage for a dad, kind of like returning a pair of khakis to Kohl's or going, “What is this? The price or my phone number?!?!” when getting the bill at a restaurant.

You, honestly, can't call yourself a dad until you reject your kid's request to borrow a $20 bill.

While it's your right and duty as a father to teach your children about the value of a dollar, one dad took the art of denying money to a whole new level.

DENIED.

According to the post on Imgur, the letter was written after this dad's 6-year-old son asked him for money to buy a new toy. As the picture shows, the child's request was denied. The father eloquently wrote,

We regret to inform you at this time that we are unable to provide a loan in the amount requested of $20.00. After reviewing your account, we have find [sic] you have insufficient funds, and a history of not doing your chores.

Harsh. Dems da breaks, kid. Might I suggest requesting a loan from Banco Grandma?
