"Hey, I think you're the father of my child" seems like a pretty unconventional pick-up line, but apparently, it works.

According to Metro, Aminah Hart got a sperm donation from an unknown donor when she was 42 years old. She gave birth to her daughter, Leila, in the summer of 2012. A year later, she met the father of her child for the first time. Two years after that, they were married.

Aminah reportedly decided to track down Leila's father because Aminah herself grew up without her father and didn't want the same life for her daughter.

Fortunately, this turned out to be pretty easy to do because Scott Andersen, her chosen donor and now husband, told the fertility clinic he was willing to meet a child born of his sperm.

So, Aminah met a complete stranger who also happened to be the father of her kid. The meeting must have gone pretty well because Aminah and Scott bonded immediately and soon fell in love.

The couple got married in Victoria, Australia, where they are both from, in December 2015, and their daughter, Lelia, played the part of the flower girl. Now, the family is all together living happily ever after.

If you're thinking, "That is so perfect and beautiful. I would love to read a romance novel like that," you're in luck. Aminah wrote a book called "How I Met Your Father" telling the whole story, and a production company reportedly bought the rights to turn the story into a movie.

Of course, it's going to be a movie. I mean, just look at these beautiful pictures of the family.

How is this story so perfect? Also, how is Leila so cute?

Look at Scott being an amazing father! It's so adorable!
