400 Students Singing Outside Sick Teacher's Window Will Leave You Bawling

Facebook

Nah, not bawlin' like you carry a money clip and walk with too much swagger.

Bawling like you're going to have to fight back the tears, because this video is the definition of emotional.

Around 400 students from Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, paid teacher Ben Ellis a surprise visit at his home.

He's suffering from cancer and is currently housebound.

The moment hundreds of kids belted out a song in his honor was caught on camera and I dare you not to weep.

Leslie Ponder posted pictures of the scene on Facebook and wrote,

Today, on a spur of the moment decision, our entire high school (400+ students plus HS faculty) boarded busses and cars, and went to the home of Ben Ellis. Ben is a beloved teacher, a father to several of our students, a friend to all, and most importantly, a follower of Christ. Today, Ben needed some encouragement so our HS students stood in his driveway and sang worship songs of praise with him. This is one of the many things I love about CPA...they will stop "education" for a bigger lesson..a lesson of life, of love, of compassion, of community. Today these students learned more than they would have in a classroom.

*Sniffles aggressively.*
