I'm a Hoop Earring Fanatic — & These Luxe Huggies Check Every Box

Katherine Heigl had 27 dresses; I have 27 hoop earrings. Zero exaggeration — I just counted. As a no-makeup girlie (I love lipstick but that's as far as my repertoire goes), I like to use earrings to express myself. The Toscano hoops arrived in a tiny purple box that looks more like a collectors item than basic packaging (purple is also my favorite color, so don’t mind the bias). Upon opening, the tiny earrings gleamed in the light and instantly made me feel special. Crafted from 14-karat gold and inspired by ‘80s glam, I found the exquisite linked design both playful and chic.

What I Really Think About The Earrings

I am going on day 11 of sleeping and showering in them and haven’t experienced any discomfort or tarnishing. I like to put all my jewelry through a wear-and-tear test, and as a marathon runner, I wore them to all my runs and conditioning workouts: dance, hot yoga, and swimming. Regardless of the buckets of sweat, the hoops remained in place and intact — and garnered several compliments along the way.

I also wore the huggies to a breakfast meeting, a sunset boat cruise, and a weekend hang — and was so impressed with the versatility. (I have a buzzcut, and these earrings perfectly highlight my haircut, despite their low profile). For size reference, these are a true huggie, about the size of a dime.
