Beyoncé & Ed Sheeran Are Dropping A Duet & Twitter Cannot Handle It At All

Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé are releasing a duet. It's happening. It's real. It's dropping on Nov. 30, at 7 p.m. To answer Beyoncé's iconic "You ready?" question: No, I am not ready. Sheeran made the announcement on his Instagram the morning of Nov. 30, casually saying, "Got Beyoncé to duet with me on Perfect, comes out today at 7pm ET / 4pm PT / midnight GMT x." Fans immediately freaked out, and tweets about Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" duet prove their diehard fans were never ready for this collaboration to happen. May the music gods bless and protect us all as we prepare for the release of this epic love song.

"Perfect" is the fifth track off of Sheeran's latest album, Divide, which just earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album, and is one of Sheeran's most romantic songs ever. It's about realizing the person you're in a relationship with is the love of your life, and how loving someone that much makes them perfect in your eyes no matter what they wear, do, or say. The song dreams about sharing a home together, having babies, and with Beyoncé's added vocals, I'll probably walk away from listening to this song pregnant.

Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé are ready to slay us with this collaboration, but the fans aren't ready.

This is one of many songs Beyoncé has been featured on this year. Since it's rare that she features on any songs whatsoever, Beyoncé stans are counting their blessings and thanking 2017 for this gift that keeps on giving.

Once upon a time, Beyoncé brought Ed Sheeran on stage during the 2015 Global Citizens Festival to sing an acoustic version of her and JAY-Z's hit, "Drunk In Love." It was completely unexpected and also completely wonderful.

Ed and Bey are actually buddies, in case you didn't know. Just look at them gazing at each other at the 2017 Grammys!!

And they've performed together before their Global Citizens Festival appearance! Here's Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, and Gary Clark Jr. performing their Stevie Wonder tribute in Feb. 2015.

So yeah, this "Perfect" duet is going to be f*cking perfect. I can already imagine Beyoncé singing the lines about building a home and raising babies and me uncontrollably sobbing at the thought of her singing it to Blue, Rumi, and Sir while JAY-Z watches from a rocking chair in front of their fireplace made of healing crystals. (I have no idea if they have a fireplace made of healing crystals, but in my fantasy world, they do. And they invite me over frequently for Hot Toddies.)

In preparation for the "Perfect" Ed Sheeran x Beyoncé collab, here are Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" lyrics:

I found a love for me. Darling just dive right in. And follow my lead. Well I found a girl beautiful and sweet. I never knew you were the someone waiting for me.
'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love. Not knowing what it was. I will not give you up this time. But darling, just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own. And in your eyes you're holding mine.
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms. Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song. When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath. But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight.
Well I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know. She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home. I found a love, to carry more than just my secrets. To carry love, to carry children of our own.
We are still kids, but we're so in love. Fighting against all odds. I know we'll be alright this time. Darling, just hold my hand. Be my girl, I'll be your man. I see my future in your eyes.
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark, with you between my arms. Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song. When I saw you in that dress, looking so beautiful. I don't deserve this, darling, you look perfect tonight. Baby, I'm dancing in the dark, with you between my arms. Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song. I have faith in what I see. Now I know I have met an angel in person. And she looks perfectI don't deserve this. You look perfect tonight.

All right, everyone. It's time to place your bets on what lyrics Beyoncé will be singing! Winner gets to babysit Blue, Rumi, and Sir.
