This Tea Analogy Perfectly Breaks Down What Consensusal Sex Means

by Gillian Fuller

Usually, we talk about consent in reference to sex -- as in, if it's not consensual, it's rape.

But because rape still pervades our society, and some people seem to have trouble determining what is consensual and what isn't, one person brilliantly defined the term, using tea as a metaphor for sex.

Twitter user Bo Novak posted the cheeky definition -- seemingly taken from the page of a book -- to her social media account on March 5. It's since been retweeted over 4,000 times.

Once you read the brilliant analogy, you'll understand why.
