Sick Dad Flies Across The Country To Surprise Daughter At Her Wedding (Video)

You’re going to need a lot of Kleenex while watching this video of a sick father making a surprise appearance at his daughter’s wedding.

Alexandra Price was told her father's medical condition would keep him from attending her wedding. The bride-to-be would be forced to walk down the aisle at the wedding hall in Indio, California while her father watched through a computer screen in Rochester, Minnesota.

But fates changed, and thanks to a last-minute medical reevaluation and help from a medical escort, Alexandra's father, Andre Pearson, was able to make the nuptials.

The overwhelmingly touching moment when Andre surprised Alexandra before the wedding was caught on tape.

Pearson, who is currently a heart failure patient at the Mayo Clinic, told KESQ he had an incredible amount of guilt at not being able to attend the wedding. He said,

I felt that I could do more. I felt that we could do more. And not to be able to walk her down the aisle and not to even be able to stand up and say, 'I am the one who will give her away.' I felt that I let her down,

All that changed, however, when doctors reevaluated him before the big day and worked out a plan to get him to the reception.

Price came to terms with her father's condition and the fact that he wouldn't be attending her wedding. And that made the moment all the more special when he showed up in order to walk her down the aisle. She said,

She said,

It was just amazing to have him sickness and all here and it just made me feel really happy and whole and complete.

We're all puddles of tears now, right? Not just me, right?
