78-Year-Old Senator's 'Let It Go' Ringtone Goes Off During Hearing (Video)

by Gillian Fuller

Well, this is awkward.

Sen. Pat Robert became the laughingstock of Congress when, earlier this morning during a Senate Finance Committee, his phone began ringing -- and everyone heard his loud “Let It Go” ringtone.

He's a 78-year-old man, by the way.

Tom Vilsack, the Secretary of Agriculture, was on the stand at the time of the interruption, but ceased talking and smiled while Sen. Robert desperately tried to silence the phone.

When he saw that Vilsack was still staring at him, Sen. Robert only had one thing to say: “Just let it go.”

Check out the awkward moment up top.
