Radio Station Pays For Woman's Mortgage After She Loses Her Son (Video)

by Emily Arata

Thanks to a generous gift, the mother of a recently deceased teenager will have time to heal and mourn away from the stresses of work.

As part of a series providing gifts for deserving listeners, Sydney's KIIS 1065 radio station surprised a grieving mother named Michelle with six months of mortgage payments.

She also received about $3,900 in outdoor renovations from Clarendon Homes, a project her son, Blaine, had been working on when he was killed in a freak tractor accident at work this past December.

Since Michelle's appearance on Kyle and Jackie O's radio show, those moved by her story donated over $6,000 to the family over the course of just three days.

The station even uploaded a behind-the-scenes video of the surprise, showing Michelle's immense gratitude.
