As it turns out, cramped legs and crying tots aren't the only things you'll experience mid-flight: Marriage proposals can happen there, too.

During a March 18 Alaska Airlines flight from Seattle to Juneau, Alaska, passengers received an unlikely – but romantic – surprise.

Over the intercom system, the pilot declared his love for the flight attendant, Brandy, instead of just announcing the arrival gate.

Then, he proposed.

There's never been a group of people more pleased about flying than those sitting on this plane, taking a moment to appreciate a love that started, as the pilot tells it, at 34,000 feet.
