Man Allegedly Super Glued Wife's Vagina Over Concern She Was Cheating

One South African woman was left scarred for life after she says her husband brutally abused her over suspicions that she was cheating.

The alleged attack against the 40-year-old woman occurred in 2013, but news of it only surfaced this week after she told her story to African news service, News24.

According to the victim, her husband had become convinced she was sleeping with her own uncle after he'd dropped her off at home one afternoon.

She told the News24,

My husband was an abusive man for many years. His abuse spiraled out of control when my uncle dropped me off at our home.

He began screaming at her, she recalls, and said he was going to teach her a lesson.

Brandishing a panga (a type of machete), he ordered her to take off all her clothes in their home in Ngwamtila, a small village near Bushbuckridge.

She added,

He told me that if I didn't do it, he would chop my head off with the panga. He had previously tried to chop off my hand with the panga, but I managed to escape.

This time, she says, she wasn't so lucky.

According to the victim, he forced her down, spread her legs and -- this is where it gets truly horrifying -- applied superglue to her vagina. He fled, never to be seen again.

Though she managed to remove some of the glue from her genitals, she is in constant pain and fears she will never be able to have sex again. Additionally, she lives in fear that he will return to kill her.

She hopes that by telling her story, the authorities will finally be able to track her attacker down and arrest him.
