Horrific Motorcycle Crash Leaves Racer In Critical Condition After Sliding Across Pavement (Graphic Video)

by Sean Levinson

English motorcycle rider Simon Andrews is in critical condition after a horrific crash at the North West 200 race in Northern Ireland on Saturday.

Video shows the 29-year-old flying across the pavement like a Skeleton competitor without a board and ramming his head into a curb with his body popping into the air upon impact.

The Belfast Telegraph reports that Andrews was airlifted to Royal Victoria Hospital where he will join fellow North West 200 participant Franck Petricola, who was seriously injured in a crash during practice on Tuesday.

Andrews has cheated death several times before, with the most recent incident before this having occurred last September when he had to be placed on a ventilator due to a damaged lung.
