Mother With Alzheimer's Springs To Life As Her Son Sings To Her (Video)

A little more than two months ago, musician Joe Fraley shared a video of himself singing to his Alzheimer's-stricken mother, Judy.

The emotional recording went viral, receiving more than 1.8 million views on YouTube.

Although Fraley explained playing the guitar for his disoriented mom – who'd once been his biggest fan – was often too emotionally painful for him, Judy recently had a very lucid day.

Fraley filmed himself singing to Judy at her hospice care facility, noting her health dramatically worsened within the last few weeks to include frightening comatose and non-responsive periods.

On Wednesday, Fraley had a music session with his mother and strummed a newly penned original song for her.
