Guy Films One Second Each Day While Hiking From Mexico To Canada (Video)

by Madeline Concannon

The Pacific Crest Trail is a footpath that runs from the US-Mexico border to the US-Canada border and covers over 2,500 miles through California, Oregon and Washington.

For most people, completing the hike through many different ecosystems and terrains usually takes around five months.

One hiker finished the epic journey and wanted to give people a diverse view of the incredible things he saw, so he created a video featuring one-second footage from each day of his hike.

As you can imagine, the footage is absolutely breathtaking.

According to the video, he passed "through 25 national forests and 7 national parks, the trail crosses 700 miles of Southern California desert before entering the Sierra Nevada and then following the Cascades north to Canada."

This video truly makes me want to drop out of school and dedicate five months to hiking this trail, but for now, this video will do.
