When Rodney Nelson finally popped the question, he wanted to give girlfriend Alexa Wenning something special.

According to a story shared on HowHeAsked, Nelson handed Wenning a hand-drawn flipbook, made by The Flippist, during a Christmas trip to Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo.

And when she reached the mock ring at the end, Nelson pulled the real one out of his pocket.
