The next time your mom asks you what "WTF" means, you can tell her to go look it up in the dictionary. That's right, the old favorite acronym and a slew of other modern words were officially added to the Merriam-Webster unabridged dictionary.

Recently, the dictionary added a total of 1,700 new terms -- including emoji, photobomb, clickbait and NSFW -- and 3,200 new examples to its roster.

According to a CNN report, most of the new terminology reflects the preferences of modern life.

There are loads of tech terms and words related to economics, globalization and, interestingly, food — specifically, hipster food, such as crema, or "a layer of tan, creamy froth that forms on the top of freshly made espresso."

Fortunately, “on fleek” did not make the dictionary's pages nor did anything Kardashian-related, so you can take a sigh of relief.... for now, anyway.

Go ahead and search through the unabridged dictionary to find more of your favorite slang defined.
