There's Now A Dating Website Exclusively For People Who Love To Rave

The couple that raves together stays together -- or so thinks Joseph Ioia, cofounder of SingleRavers.com, a new dating site for partiers looking for love.

In an interview with Insomniac, Ioia revealed that he -- along with girlfriend Kelly McCall and her sister Julie -- launched the site in early October of last year after realizing there was no platform through which single ravers could meet.

Ioia said,

We're just three EDM fans that want to spread love.

Since then, the site has attracted over 9,000 followers on Instagram and received more than 800 submissions from hopeful singles.

The unique site dually operates as an event listings page and offers users discounted tickets to shows and EDM events.

SingleRavers' process is unlike that of any other dating site, as well. Once a user creates a profile on the website, Ioia and his team upload the candidate's profile to the Single Ravers Instagram account.

Anyone interested can contact the featured user by sending a direct message or commenting on the photo. The team features anywhere from four to 10 profiles daily. The result, Ioia explains, is a backlog of submissions.

He said,

We have hundreds of people waiting to be featured and [we] want to give everyone a chance. So it might take awhile for someone's profile to go up.

Ioia hopes to rectify this drawback in time by expanding Single Ravers “into a fully functioning social network, app and dating platform.”
